Vitiligo

Vitiligo is an absence of Melanin in the skin. It affects all races but is more common in black skin.

'Vitiligo is a chronic skin condition characterized by portions of the skin losing their pigment. It occurs when skin pigment cells die or are unable to function. Aside from cases of contact with certain chemicals,[1] the cause of vitiligo is unknown. Research suggests vitiligo may arise from autoimmune, genetic, oxidative stress, neural, or viral causes.[2] Vitiligo is typically classified into two main categories: segmental and non-segmental vitiligo.'

Those that wish to cover their facial vitiligo can do so with waterproof, camouflage cream pigments that blend beautifully and are set with a powder to make them transfer proof.

Rosacea and Redness / Birthmark

High colour and skin sensitivity require specialist products designed specifically for high pigmentation. Redness can contribute to a lack in confidence for sufferers which is a real shame as with a little knowledge redness can be covered without leaving a noticeable blanket of concealer.

I offer consultations for colour correction, please call me to discuss your particular requirements and I will guide you through the options

Tattoos

On occasion, tattoos need to be covered; maybe for a wedding where your dress doesn't quite cover that tattoo on your shoulder.

Tattoos can be concealed temporarily so there is no need to worry about your personal statement conflicting with your Bridal style!

Complexion Correction

Dark Circles

Dark under eye circles can be difficult to manage especially when skin pigmentation is very dark. Asian skins are a great example of this and here we have a photograph showing before and after correction.

As you can see Sunny's RIGHT under eye has been neutralised and concealed without compromising the texture of the skin giving a very natural coverage. The LEFT eye shows Sunny's natural pigmentation.
