I qualified as a makeup artist in 2002 graduating from Greasepaint school of make up.
I work in Film, Fashion, TV and Theatre with actors, performers, recording artists, designers, models and live television presenters; people that are under the scrutiny of the media and the public alike on an everyday basis. With HD film every detail is magnified and exaggerated and skin needs to look fresh and flawless.
I believe that everyone deserves the same attention and expertise and so I offer my private clients a red carpet experience where you can receive that A list treatment.
Everyone wants to look their best and often it's an objective point of view combined with a knowledge of how light works with the face that can come together to achieve that perfect look. There are thousands of make up products on the market and it can be a minefield of marketing and packaging and very expensive mistakes whilst you attempt to find the products that work for you.
As a freelance Make Up Artist I am completely independent and therefore able to offer a wide selection of brands to my clients. I use brands such as Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Chantecaille, Laura Geller, Viseart, Make Up Forever, Kevyn Aucoin, Louise Young, Maquillage, Bare Minerals, Illamasqua , PAM and VEIL camouflage creams.
Hair design has been a passion of mine for many years. My previous career as a Ballerina and West End performer gave me the inspiration to move into film and wig dressing and later wedding hair.
I am a believer that make up should be used to enhance our beauty. I also believe that make up can be used to boost our self esteem.
I have a great deal of experience in guiding brides on their hair and make up journey. I offer a personal and professional approach at a competitive and fair price.
